Superior Trees, LLC is an 80 acre portion of Jared’s paternal grandparent’s former dairy farm, which he purchased and has been working to reforest since 2017.
Certified under the American Tree Farm System, Jared has worked with the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Alger County Conservation Dictrict and Marquette County Conservation District to plant over 12,500 trees and shrubs in a mix of pine plantation, sugar maple, indigenous food forest and orchard plantings to improve wildlife habitat, protect pollinators, and preserve the water quality of Lake Superior.
Jared has hand planted thousands of trees on the property and his work is finally becoming visible…from space.
